Our pieces are made and printed by hand in workshops in India using natural fibers. That makes them unique, and also a little more delicate than an industrial garment. With this care they will last you many years.<\/p>\n
Wash the garment on its own the first time. Artisan block print<\/em> prints and natural dyes can release a little color in the first wash; this is normal and does not mean the garment is faulty.<\/p>\n Always dry in the shade and laid flat. Direct sun dulls natural dyes. Do not tumble dry: natural fibers shrink and embroidery can lose its shape.<\/p>\n Iron inside out, at medium temperature and with the garment slightly damp. Over embroidery and mirrors, place a cotton cloth between the iron and the garment.<\/p>\n Store garments clean and dry, somewhere airy and out of direct light. Knitted or padded pieces are better folded than hung, so the shoulders do not lose their shape.<\/p>\n As these are handmade pieces, it is normal to find slight color variations between units, small irregularities in the print or the odd different stitch.
